Grapevine Garden

One year on from when I first surveyed the garden, I took these 'After' images. My clients wanted a generous terrace for entertaining, along with a large lawn and planted borders. The end of the garden has been left to accommodate a future garden office alongside the shed, and has a different feel with two apple trees and natural meadow planting. Eventually the trees will screen the neighbouring building, and the mature plants will soften the appearance of the fences.

Looking back down the garden through the arch and trellis that separates the main garden from the meadow area that contains a large shed, and in future, a garden office.

The only plant to be retained was the wonderful grapevine. We designed a pergola to support it, and it will now be trained over the living room doors.
